Gabriel cleaned my 2008 BMW SUV last week, and not since we brought it home from the dealership has it looked so great. It is as if he turned back time. I've had that car professionally detailed many times a year since buying it, and no one but Gabriel has been able to remove the smoke buildup off the carpets from years of my husband's smoking. I found the convenience of not having to leave my home and the contactless exchange helpful since I am now a work from home mom.
In the past, trips to the car wash have involved lugging in and out the stroller and attempting to entertain my son while we wait for hours in an inconvenient waiting area or find ourselves walking only to spend more money on lunch to stay occupied. All the while, I am missing valuable teaching or work time. Since the onset of the pandemic, I found myself feeling uncertain about having my car washed by multiple individuals going in and out of other people's cars. I found security in having only one person attend to my car.
The best part of the cleaning for me was not just the convenience or attention to detail of every nook and cranny wiped clean of crumbs and dust, but the smell, or to be more exact, the lack of smell. I never look forward to entering my car after a car wash because I find the smell to be overpowering. This was not the case when Gabriel was finished. There was no overpowering odors. What I did notice was he was able to combat the spilt milk smell that any parent of a toddler is familiar with. Even better, a week later, the smell is still gone, not returning the way it did after many other detailings.
I found Gabriel to be very trustworthy. I felt safe and comfortable with him in my car. Since I own my own business, my car often functions as a second office, meaning it becomes not only extremely messy, but I keep important information in my car. I felt secure in knowing my personal effects in car were in good hands with Gabriel.
